Thank you so much for the biscuit barrel - although you said you were worried that you wouldn't be able to clean up the handle we think you have done a terrific job on a difficult piece.
Also the drawer handles and backs look lovely - I'll leave them silver because the patterning really shows up well. We'll just buy some silver colour screws instead of the little brassy ones.
So all in all, two jobs really well done - thank you very much.

ps our local jeweller, who I approached in the first place about having the biscuit barrel done, now knows of nobody doing your job in this area. I'll make sure I pass on your name and details when I next see him so that he can let other customers know.

Not sure what happened as I sent you an email a couple of days later saying how pleased I was with it.
It was a bit emotional actually as I received it back around the time my step mum died so as it was hers and to see if it was ok I wore it for a couple of days in a row and I am pleased to say (touch wood) all seems well.
I wore it also this weekend to a party and it is still looking beautiful. Three people mentioned how lovely it looked and I told them the story.
Two of them have asked for your details so I emailed them so hopefully they will be in touch.
Once again a big thank you for doing this for me it is much appreciated.

When the watches come to us they are a satin finish and therefore the finish when plated will be satin.
If you want them mirror polished before plating we can do this at an extra cost of £20

Lee provides an excellent service. He plated a gold pocket watch for me and had to get the internals carefully removed and returned.
He matched the gold perfectly and frankly it looks better than new.
